@dillotest0 On my last 4-5 visits he was always sleeping or lying in the dust. This time I almost touch him. I had similar experience with the Mountain Anoa at Krefeld last year. You never know how long this amazing creatures will be around.
I have a same sentiment to the Umbrellabird at Walsrode - only one remains; and is presumably now 20 years old - but given the ages relatives of that species can reach, I hope that this bird has many years left in him - enough for me to photograph him in that time, anyway !
