How weird. Hadn't noticed hoe that looked before. It is actually a piece of seaweed. These are wild doplphins and they play with long pieces of weed. This one jumped up at the piece I was holding in one hand while taking picture with other. The piece behind the head is in the water and is separate. You can actually just see the other end which curls round to the right of the dolphin.
