These statues have been repainted since my last visit. They used to have flowers and a flowered skirt painted on them...believe there is a picture elsewhere in this gallery depicting them. I should have checked, as well, to see if the diorama mural was still present in the Komoko Dragon exhibit or if the Honolulu Zoo is moving away from the "quirky" painted artwork on some of the exhibits.
