Photographed on 31st December 2024 in Australasia. FINALLY photographed this species after never being able to spot it for years.
And conveniently enough, it was literally right by the glass panel of the Southern Cassowary enclosure. Yeah my luck maxed out here. Next target will be that Paddle-Tail Newt...
@BucerosKeeper The fire-bellied newt, which used to be housed at the Giant Panda Forest, is now housed in the Fragile Forest, while the paddletail is at Reptopia (as what @LeMandaiEnthusiast‧ mentioned).
@BucerosKeeper What PangolinLover mentioned, though as far as I'm aware there's only 1 Paddle-Tail Newt in Reptopia which I've pretty much given up hope finding
@LeMandaiEnthusiast‧@PangolinLover0514 must have missed it on my last visit then. Because I remember taking care of them (quite a large number of both species) at the Chinese Giant Salamander's filtration room.
@Nadchew_ Quoting Zooish's post on his own photograph: "Signed as New Guinea Snapping Turtle, E.novaeguineae at the exhibit, but identified as E.branderhorsti in other media."
