A new male Brazilian Tapir named Lupo imported from Zoo Schmiding, Austria this year. His import should mark the first for a basis to re-establish this species in the region. After years of seeing slow geriatric tapir, it was a pleasure to see a young tapir so engaged with training and even his remnant stripes.
