Is this exhibit still in existence or has it been demolished? It was a kind of random, outdated enclosure that didn't seem to fit into the great scheme of things.
it is still in existence. The female tapir is very elderly, her mate died several years ago so they added the peccary to keep her some company. the rest of snout route (fossa, dik dik, crested porcupines) has been closed except the giant anteater. which leads me to believe a south american complex may be on the horizon (fate of the hill perhaps)
