Broadway Zoological Park - Goat Barn Interior

05/17/2025
The exhibits in this room are home to, from left to right;
  • Linnaeus's Two-toed Sloth (Choloepus didactylus)/Six-banded Armadillo (Euphractus sexcinctus) (Off-frame to the left)
  • Southern Tamandua (Tamandua tetradactyla) (Off-frame to the left)
  • Golden-handed Tamarin (Saguinus midas)/Rock Hyrax (Procavia capensis)
  • Jamaican Fruit-eating Bat (Artibeus jamaicensis)
  • Egyptian Rousette (Rousettus aegyptiacus)
  • Northern Small-spotted Genet (Genetta genetta).
The stalls to the right are the indoor stalls for the goats, as well as stalls for 2 domestic rabbits. The tamarins and tamandua were not seen on my visit.

Thanks for posting some photos of this new zoo. Did you see any Variegated Squirrels on your visit? The species shows up on their USDA report.

@Astrotom3000 I took a look at the photo, thanks! Seems this place has quite a few rarities. Exhibits looks like a mixed bag in quality but generally passable? Would love to hear your thoughts on the zoo.
