Broadway Zoological Park - Primate enclosures

05/17/2025
The 4 tall enclosures are home to, from background to foreground;
  • Central American White-faced Capuchin (Cebus imitator)
  • Brown Capuchin (Sapajus apella)
  • Ring-tailed Lemur (Lemur catta)
  • Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus)
The corn crib cage is home to Red-and-green Macaw (Ara chloropterus) and Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao).

The "plant bed" between the two primate cages is actually an exhibit for Radiated Tortoise (Astrochelys radiata). There is another exhibit like this in the background between the first 2 primate cages, home to Indian Star Tortoise (Geochelone elegans).
