@SivatheriumGuy Labenne certainly has a very impressive crane collection, zootierliste lists a whopping 12 species! (Only missing black crowned, whooping, and hooded) Is this accurate? If so, surely it must be one of, if not the most comprehensive collection of cranes in Europe.
@Fallax They do actually have black-crowned cranes! It is accurate, or at least it was, because blue cranes and black-necked cranes (the species I was looking forward to the most) were not visible on my visit. I don't know if these are just in the backstage or if they left the collection, which would be very sad.
