No, there was just one Lion House (the building in the photo). It sat empty for many years after the zoo's cats were placed in better exhibits around the zoo, and was finally modified (significantly!) to become Madagascar in 2008. Perhaps what you're confused about is that in the process of modification, one half of the old Lion House became the public exhibit area of Madagsacar, and the other half is now a big space for events etc.
