A few days ago I uploaded my dad's old photos from Lisbon Zoo (circa 1978) and then the bear was in the old castle grotto which was still in use when I visited in 1997. But this one is not familiar at all. Is it the old grotto, just with substrate and modification?
A few days ago I uploaded my dad's old photos from Lisbon Zoo (circa 1978) and then the bear was in the old castle grotto which was still in use when I visited in 1997. But this one is not familiar at all. Is it the old grotto, just with substrate and modification?
The old grotto has been expanded and modified, with a water cascade, natural substrate and new furniture. It holds 3 brown bears, all the other bear species are gone.
