Lucky sods - I've never had trouble at Berlin but elsewhere Brown Hyaenas are tricky devils.

Where did you end up doing this trip? Did you make it to Stuttgart?

We did this on the first day [carrying our suitcases around the whole collection]. Arrived at Frankfurt Airport about 9:30 and got a taxi straight to Opel. Then taxi back to hotel and Frankfurt Zoo on the second day, 3rd day we got the train to Stuttgart and 4th day we did Palmengarten en-route to the airport.

Will update the thread a bit later with details of everything, but in short had a cracking time and really surprised ourselves that we managed to cope :p

That is more like it! Straight to a Zoo from the arrival point.:) Consider yourself a true Zoophile. Sounds like you had a successful trip.
