@Summer Tanager It's rather impressive, and it keeps growing year by year. The park's current owner really likes its birds, and seeing the zoo's trajectory is noticeable!
It's great to see a zoo that values it's bird collection! I'm often surprised by the relatively small bird collections in most U.S. Zoos. We have about a dozen zoos with very large bird collections (San Diego, Bronx, Sedgwick County, Miami, San Antonio, Sylvan Heights, Fort Worth, National Aviary, Disney Animal Kingdom, Omaha, Toledo, and Cincinnati), both more than half of U.S. Zoos have fewer than 50 species.
