One criticism leveled at the Sea Life franchise (with 50+ locations worldwide) is that at one point I believe that zero facilities were AZA-accredited. However, that has changed over time and now of the 8 Sea Life establishments in the USA there are 4 that are currently accredited (Arizona, Charlotte-Concord, Grapevine and Kansas City) with two more that have already been inspected and will have accreditation announced in September (Carlsbad and Michigan) and that leaves a couple more Sea Life aquariums that appear to not be AZA-accredited at all. Orlando just opened up a year ago and Minnesota does not seem to be accredited either.
