Anthony Sheridan's book "What Zoos Can Do" lists 806 reptiles (161 species) and 652 amphibians (47 species) for this zoo. Wow! There is also a listing of 168 species of fish, but judging from the zoo's map it appears that the fish are kept in a separate building.
