June 2nd, 2018: The zoo created a certified Butterfly Garden with native plants for butterflies and other insects to pollinate. The Bug Hotel (the structure seen in the back) has several partitions with different materials to attract different invertebrates, such as ladybugs, spiders, bees and more.
