Butterfly House entrance

Oh my word! what on earth is that?
- it is totally unnecessary
- it would have looked much better with a normal and more formal front

it's an inflatable entrance (and exit) the actual structure of the butterfly tunnel appeared to be solid though

I too thought oh my god what's that (at 1st glimpse I thought it was the ubiquitous bouncy castle) but the display inside was actually rather good, with lots of cocoons and pupae to see as well as the prolific numbers of butterflies. The keepers inside were also very well informed and friendly towards the kids. This really caught my young daughter's attention.

The labels are very good too (the one area where London's is much better than Chester's - where there are no species labels at all).
