Yesterday they fenced off the cafe to prepare to construct an indoor seating area. Previously it was all outdoor. Now if you happen to visit Reid Park Zoo on one of the 3 days of the year that it actually rains in Tucson, you will be covered!

(BTW - Phoenix Zoo is also building a new indoor cafe along with their new tiger exhibit, I think sometime next year. So now there is no reason to fear a summer visit to Arizona zoos! )
