Five lions are laying down - stretched across the frame horizontally. Kind of hard to see because their tan coats blend in so well with the dead grass.
This design is both good and bad. For people eating in the cafe, it is great. But for people outside, it is no good because the other viewing window is behind the hill the lions are on. Since they spend most of their time on the cafe side of the hill, the people outside usually don't see them. Conversely, if the lions happen to be on the other side, then the cafe diners don't get to see them.
The reason the designers made a big hill in the exhibit, I think, is because when you are at the public viewing window on the other side, the hill blocks the cafe.
