cage for Bornean clouded leopard (Neofelis diardi)

there are two Bornean clouded leopards at Lok Kawi. On display in this cage is a young female confiscated from someone keeping it illegally as a pet in the town of Ranau. Permanently off-display is an older male with only three legs after being trapped in a poacher snare.

Not the best exhibit in the world, but it looks like I could get a decent photo of another cat species for my Felidae photo collection. I really appreciate the information. The only hard part is having the time and money to get there...

(Of course if they got a Bornean Bay Cat also, I am sure I could find a way :D).

there was a sign on the cage saying it was temporary until a better enclosure could be built, but being cynical by nature I think it may have been on there for a while (and may well be on there still). It would be nice if the leopard did now have a big brand new cage though.

....but it doesn't :(

I visited the zoo today, five years on, and the poor cat is still in this tiny cage. See the link in the first post for an update on the zoo.
