I'm not sure of the actual size of this zoo, my guess would be about 15-25 acres. My wife and I were able to walk it in approximately 1 hr. And that included my stopping to take photographs as well as viewing the exhibits.

I'm extremely appreciative of the recent photos and comments about CALM, and also very disappointed with the news that it should only take about an hour to tour this zoo and many of the enclosures are average at best. So much for this being a solid attraction for my August California adventure!
