This is the former bobcat exhibit. Interesting that they were replaced with lynx, as otherwise the zoo is entirely dedicated to Illinois native species.
Not too surprising a change, given that Cosley is AZA accredited and there is a breeding program for Canada Lynx. The SSP may have been looking for new holders to switch over from keeping bobcats.
