This pond was roughly where the reed bed for the Elephant waterfall is now. There was a Small Mammal/ Nocturnal House in front of it, where the entrance area is now.

Wow, i didnt know they used to be housed here, i do remember them being housed in the former Lechwe paddock near the Rhinos though.
It actually looks rather better than what they currently have.
