Cattle Egret (?) wild (?) free flying anyway

Definitely wild. They have a huge breeding colony there. In fact, it becomes a big problem at times.

There were dozens in the area. I saw what I'm sure were Great Egrets in the Dallas area (the Trinity River greenbelt?). In San Antonio these birds. It looked like there were Snowy Egrets present as well in the same nesting colony. Is this the case? I figure with similar habitat requirements it would not be unusual for both or even all three species to be present.

Entirely possibly. I've seen a local rookery with 3 species of egret, tri-colored heron, white ibis, anhinga, and black-crowned night heron. All within a small patch of woods.
