I am writing a novel. The basic premise is young adults trying to survive an island full of prehistoric creatures. Confucius is a Changchengornis. This genus was avialan theropod dinosaur that flew 124.6 mya in China.
This species will no longer be appearing in the novel as I just read an article about how they were likely poor fliers which is something that won't work for what I planned on having it do in the story. Instead I'll be using a different prehistoric avialan.
