This area is a twin of the preserved cage at the entrance at the other end of the house, and is used as a holding area that opens onto the large cheetah paddock on the rotunda (this is the grassy area behind).
Oddly, it has a matching handrail to the entrance cage, despite this one being in the middle of a big cat enclosure.
