With brand-new, excellent exhibits for big cats such as lions, tigers, cheetahs and snow leopards, it's time for @Arizona Docent to put his canceled European trip behind him and head north to Nebraska!
That is a very nice looking exhibit. If they had king cheetahs I would go almost for sure. Since only one USA facility has king cheetahs, I am more inclined to head further east.
@Arizona Docent it’s also worth noting Omaha has the only African wild cats in the United States, in admittedly not the most photo friendly exhibit. Even besides the cats there are more then enough reasons to visit Henry Doorly.
@pachyderm pro They are NOT the only African wildcats; Great Cats World Park has them (including a melanistic individual that I photographed). Still if Omaha had more small cats and a better exhibit, I might be inclined...
