Would be great to see them. Do you have any idea what happened to the Twycross Lions? When Kamal was there when i visited in 2006 there was 1 breeding female a younger female Jadzia (Female + Kamal) along with two male cubs there was a 3rd female but she was on her own at another end of the zoo due to an injury. Be great if anyone knows
Well the breeding female died, and that was what prompted Kamal's movement to Bristol, to get a switch around in breeding pairs. As far as I know (i read in an annual report of Twycross on the internet) that Jazira and a female from the previous litter (possibly the injured female) where to relocate to a European zoo (unsure off top of head) for breeding. I'm not 100% what happened to the males although I think a male went to Paignton?
