Chester zoo's Bear exhibit

2005 at Chester zoo
I've spotted the bear in the enclosure, but are they often difficult to find? I'd imagine that the coatis would be much easier to spot as they are a species that can be extremely active in captivity.

In truth, snowleopard, neither species is easy to spot. To the right of this photo is a hill and i believe the bears prefer to stay behind this slope (and therefore out of the public's sight). The coatis usually stay in the area where those tall poles are in this photo and are quite difficult to spot

What was in it then ZG i thought Chester had Spectacled Bears for a few years now?

They have, but at this point in time the bears at Chester were Loja and Strolch.

Strolch was put to sleep as a result of chronic health problems related to his eyes. He was replaced by Sangay.

Loja, unfortunately, was killed as a result of a fight with Sangay, and was later replaced by Franka.
