jbnbsn99 10 Aug 2009 Never thought of it from that point of view. That is probably a safe bet, but the fact that visitors are at eye/head level with that hot wire and there is nothing keeping them from touching it (except shock) is kind of scary.

Ituri 10 Aug 2009 Phoenix Zoo has similar hot-wire on their flamingo fence for that very reason, but they only turn it on when the zoo is closed.
