Genuine question - do you ever get tired of seeing rotten exhibits? Does it not discourage you when you travel and see something like this? Meant in the best possible way of course, just curious .
@amur leopard I didn’t know what to expect at Sriayuthaya Lion Park as I am not sure any other zoo nerd has ever been there. @twilighter and I broke new ground! This place had some fantastic species that we’d never seen before, some really large enclosures (croc pools, hippos) but also some junky stuff. I don’t necessarily get sick of seeing poor exhibits as I have year-long breaks or sometimes several years in between big zoo trips. And there are jungle zoos in Southeast Asia that are some of my favourite zoos of all-time.
