I believe that this Chimpanzee exhibit is fairly new, but just imagine if instead of a vast water moat the ground was filled in and the enclosure would then be substantially larger. Glass viewing windows could be put in place, allowing visitors to get much closer to the apes, and the lack of water would alleviate any fears of drownings. I've never been to Lisbon Zoo but judging from photos this exhibit seems like a 6 out of 10.
