The Kebun Binatang Ragunan (Zoo of Jakarta) has, at the center of the park, a 32 acres (13 ha) primate section called «*Schmutzer Primate Centre*». Here, orang-utans, gorillas and chimpanzees are kept in large and natural exhibits. This is the chimpanzee island, one of the most recent enclosure of the park, with a waterfall, vegetation, trees, and different artificial enrichments.
