This is the first photo I've seen that shows the length of the exhibit. It's larger than I realised but I see what you mean about the lack of structure. The benefit of a covered exhibit is not having to worry about furnishings being too close to walls.
The chimp outdoor enclosure is pretty good and it continues around the corner. But there could have been so much more climbing structures and given the multitude of viewing windows, they can't completely escape the visitors.
