Chinese giant salamander exhibit, 2020-09-03

Has anyone on zoochat ever seen this animal?

@Mr Gharial If anyone on ZooChat has, they haven't posted a picture.

On my Facebook groups I also couldn't immediately find anything other than photos of the exhibit.

There's still a few species at Pairi Daiza that have so far eluded me, I am hoping for another chance later this year.

@KevinB What would be some of those other species? I'm visiting soon too

@Mr Gharial I didn't see one of the three bird of paradise species they have yet.And I would like to see more of the birds in the tropical house that also houses the birds of paradise.

That house is currently closed due to the Covid-19 restrictions though, so I probably won't be visiting until that reopens (June at the earliest).

I was planning for a two-day visit with a resort stay at Pairi Daiza in late May/Early June, but will probably postpone that to early September, like I did in 2020.
