@sooty mangabey Per my visit in late June, the policy has been somewhat relaxed - but only to the point that photographing the Mangshan Pitviper also in the house is permitted, with designated areas marked on the floor beyond which this is possible.
@TeaLovingDave The bastards I wanted to photograph the vipers in early June, but I got rebuffed in a very uncharming way (which seems to be the normal way for the Prague zoo employees)
In the Prague zoo was the first time. The excitement was that i was blind and... naughty .It's been brought to my attention, but...this one picture in the camera left. Very sorry, Prague zoo.
@lintworm This is indeed a thing! I love Prague Zoo, and have visited on many occasions over the past decade. The animal staff have always been perfectly friendly, but the customer staff - at the entrance. In the cafes, in the shops - have always been spectacularly grumpy and unhelpful, in my experience. This has been particularly notable in the small shop near the entrance - it is very narrow, and gets full with just 2 or 3 people in it, so I appreciate that it must be stressful to work there, but, really, the staff there are unbelievable....
