Is there a way to tell the difference between this subspecies and the Malayan by the plumage? Walsrode keeps both subspecies, and I haven’t been able to tell which are kept where in the park, but I do assume the Chinese one would be in Reich der Mitte
@Daniel Sörensen ZTL mentions that the Malayan spotted doves might currently be off-show. I don't know about color differences or anything, Wikipedia does not mention any but does mention differences in vocalizations.
