The fish in front is a Petrochromis species, perhaps one of the races of P polyodon, perhaps not. Those thick, wide lips are covered with tiny teeth shaped like chisels to rasp algae off rocks.
Behind it are two Haplotaxodon microlepis with their vertical mouths. Two amazing species from Lake Taganyika.
@gentle lemur Checking ztl for that genus, Wroclaw is listed as keeping P. trewavasae and Petrochromis spec. "Red Bulu Point". I would think this is the latter.
@ThylacineAlive Probably so. It is not P. trewavasae, which is chocolate brown with yellow spots and long streamers on its dorsal and anal fins (and utterly stunning too). It's a species which makes aquarists salivate and have daydreams about keeping a shoal of them in a tank the size of a small swimming pool
