Cisticola species

it's a cisticola, which all look very similar. I would say Pectoral-patch Cisticola, but I wouldn't consider that firm enough to count on.

Because they all look so similar, many of the East African cisticolas are named after their call - Piping Cisticola, Winding Cisticola, Rattling Cisticola, Wailing Cisticola, Croaking Cisticola etc. - so it helps to note their vocalisations when you see them.

I will just leave this as Cisticola species then.

However thanks for pointing out the call, as I was able to identify Zitting Cisticola in Nairobi National Park yesterday.
