As you can see, the sign behind it doesn't even specify its genus.

The markings are what leaded me to purpose this species, overall the facial marks
P.S. Is the Museu Blau enough interesting for a visit? (in respect to species exhibited, I mean). I think I remember what I tought to be an indri in a general view of many specimens... Any other remarkable rarity?

@Kakapo Actually, all these pictures were taken at... A semi-private primary+secondary school; Els Jesuïtes Sarrià Sant Ignasi. My girlfriend is doing her practicum there to be an English teacher, which is how I discovered this collection. You can just walk into the school, without making much fuss, of course, and find them. As they've been reforming their natural history museum, they display this taxidermy collection in the hall on the second floor, and a collection of bones and skeletons on the 1st floor. It's a massive collection, all things considered. I'll leave the school's website link below:

About the Museu Blau, I think it's worth a small visit; on Sunday afternoons admission is free, and on the first Sunday of every week it's free all day long. They don't have a taxidermied indri, unfortunately, or any other species of lemur... But they do have a North Island brown kiwi, a Philippine colugo, and a Mediterranean monk seal, among other more or less obscure animals. They also have a pretty impressive mineral collection, and an ok vegetal and fossil collections, with mounted replicas of the skeletons of:
- Dunkleosteus (skull only)
- Eryops
- Gastornis
- Prognathodon
No live animals, though. They had a temporary venomous animal exhibiti (run by the company that hosts the venomous animals in Faunia, Madrid), and perhaps one day down the line they might have a new temporary exhibit with live animals.
So yeah, I recommend a visit. The science museum CosmoCaixa doesn't have any taxidermies, but it does have permanently resident wild animals. ;)

@JigerofLemuria You think parents in Europe are bad? You should see how they complain in America! There was one parent who tried to get a book series called My Weird School banned from schools just because each book starts with the sentence "My name is AJ and I hate school", which, you know, encourages hatred.
