Zebra exhibit.
It's nice to see pictures from the old Predator/Prey exhibits. I almost forgot what they looked like. Wow. They were more barren and fake then I remembered them being ;) I can't wait until these animals come back in a few years for the African Savannah exhibit. I can't even imagine how wonderful their new exhibits will be with all of the amazing new exhibits the Columbus Zoo receives every few years now.

So, they are building a new exhibit?

I think Kudu21's comment answers your question. On another note, I believe it will be more than an exhibit, it will take animal exhibition to a whole new level on over 50 acres! But I think it will only be ready in a few years time.

Oh yeah, just read it lol!

50 acres is massive....hopefully they will make the most if it

The last I heard it is going to be 70 acres in size. I've also heard an opening date between 2012 and 2014 :) Simply astounding size, hopefully with all of the Columbus Zoo's potential, the exhibits will be too :) Animal wise I've heard of the possibility of African Elephants, Nile Hippos, Spotted Hyenas, various antelopes, a kopje exhibit, among many others that I don't remember from the plans. I've also heard that the Black Rhinos and African Lions will be moved out of their old exhibits and will be replaced with Asian species to complete Asia Quest. Also the animals that left for the building of Asia Quest will be coming back. These include, Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu, Grant's Zebras, Reticulated Giraffes, and possibly a few other species I don't quite remember.
