This was in the same avairy as the others I asked for help on I have looked through a few Collins Bird Guides but can not find this species
I think I have posted this photograph on here before but for some unknown reason it seems to have vanished into thin air

Again any help would be gratefully recieved

I am still looking for an answer to this, but I also have a question is this a Madagscan Fody Juvenile or a Green Singing Finch

Perhaps a female Red bishop (Euplectes orix) or Napolean weaver (Euplectes afer). Looking at the dark feathers on the throat it could be a male out of breeding plumage.

I would agree with Pinkback, female or basic plumage male Euplectes sp. Green Singning Finch is half the size, green and yellow, and a fody is more like a House Sparrow

I'd plump for an out of colour male Napoleon Weaver. Sewerby has two cock birds nearly fully out of colour at the moment - I'll try to remember to do a comparison.

Just thinking it's a bit pale below its breast.
