An 8.5cm long juvenile lizard, possibly female with very restricted dorsal patterning when compared to the other lizards. This individual was found at Site 2 (a sheet of corrugated iron).
Yes, sorry about that confusion. I just use numbers to identify individuals rather than naming them. Maybe if I took out the first 0 it would be less confusing?
My pleasure! Catching these things can be quite tricky, especially in the afternoon once the sun has warmed them. I always use a net to block off their escape route, and then gently encourage them to enter the net. After that it is a quick transfer to the tub where all their measurements are recorded, and then a quick ID photograph is taken before they are released again.
