UPPER SERFACE OFUNKNOWN LARVA

Sorry I don't have any other details to aid ID except this larva? has very small legs rather like a caterpillars true legs, is about 1cm long and a creamy brown colour, the pointed sting like thing on the R hand side is dark brown and is the rear end of the animal.
A neighbor found it on her bathroom floor, and i think a couple of others elsewhere in the house. nay ideas would be greatly appreciated, as It's not in any of my books.
 
It's a maggot of somewhat fly :)
Collect it, feed with rotten food and you'll get an adult fly soon, which is easier to ID.
 
That was my thought EM and as it was crawling over the carpet of the house along the road I wondered if it came out of their very old wooden roof, and was looking to pupate It is in a jar and I will keep you informed if anything happens.
