Funny this place might have taken us 90 minutes to get round but give me it any day over Banham!!Because if you are that bothered about the time it takes to get round why not do Thrigby with it on the same day,the 2 places double up very well and fill a day quite nicely, and between then to me there collections would give Banham a run for its money!
I've done a bit of research & at £23 almost, Banham has to be the most overpriced zoo (excluding theme/safari parks) in the UK!
Similar sized zoos e.g Welsh Mountain, Dudley, Blackpool are all at least £6 cheaper one £9! Edinburgh £17, Colchester, a much better zoo is cheaper at £22.50!
Banham is only £1 cheaper than Chester next week, which is a joke!!

That figure for Banham includes a voluntary donation; the 'compulsory' charge is £20.85 for an adult, and £15.40 for a child, with, as far as I can see on their website, no concession for families or discount for booking online. This does seem to be some of the most enthusiastic pricing in the UK - an extraordinary figure for a pleasant but largely unremarkable zoo. It means that a day at Banham is almost identical in price to a day at Beauval - a zoo which, as far as I know, is also wholly reliant on income through the gate, and at which can be seen a collection many times larger than that to be found in Norfolk. Very rum!
