The snow leopards were in their \'temporary\' enclosure, awaiting the completion of their new one

Where abouts is the temporary enclosure?
Im pretty sure its not the orginal as that is where the unfinished enclosure stands. When i went in 2006 they had 3 snow leopards Wicked (female) who was the original elder leopard who i think is at Thrigby now and i think 'Rocky' from santago and a female in quarantine.
Is this right?

Surprisingly, the snow leopards were being kept in the old Reptile House (which looks onto the penguin pool) as a temporary measure. They had access to a small indoor den and an outdoor area, which could easily be missed if you didn't know they were there. I only came across them because they were being fed at the time I walked by, and I stopped to take a look.

The keeper said (in September 2008) that she was hoping the new enclosure would be ready for Christmas 2008, but apparently the funds had run dry so it wasn't looking hopeful.

I'm sorry, I don't remember the names of the cats :(

I think the new enclosure is meant to open this Easter. It is called Province of the Snow Cat.

I understand that the current pair are Rocky from Santago (as you said) and Enif from Tokyo Zoo.
