Nice to see they still have these odd little turaco that's another thing which needs to be fixed over on ZTL because some idiot removed them due to their not being listed on the zoo website!

Is that still an ongoing issue? I've noticed a few things that are still at collections but have been removed from ztl because of the website listing issue and it's bloody annoying!
I've flagged it a few times - I'd hoped the administrators on ZTL would have checked who had performed those edits by now as it is almost always an edit citing a website check on the same day, so it is presumably the one person.
I'm not sure I understand completely how Zootierliste editing works. Does anyone who becomes a member gain the ability to edit the listings on the site? Is this not vetted at all? Why do people who cannot be trusted not get their editing abilities revoked?
(EDIT: note this was posted at the same time as TLD was posting his post above)

1) People who cannot make edits, only suggest them on a noticeboard.
2) People who can make edits to species listings, but cannot add species or collections to the database, having proven their reliability. I assume this editing right *can* be revoked.
3) People who can edit *and* add - in other words, administrators.
