Very pale faces, thats what made me think southern

tbh - I don't know much about them. The signage was new and said Waldrapp (Northern Bald). You would be better off asking Bloodycurtus than me - he will tell you - hope that helps

Was also VERY sunny, and a rubbish camera - so I wouldnt be guided too much by the colours!

These do look like Southern Bald Ibis to me. The pale faces and no crest in the back of the head makes me think that these are southern.

I just checked ISIS and it does say that Blackbrook Zoo has 2.1 Waldrapp Ibis.

These are definitely Southern Bald Ibis - this aviary contains both species.
