Black-necked crowned cranes at Blackbrook Zoo, 13 November 2010

These are Black Crowned Cranes, surely.

Yep they are Black-necked Crowned Cranes,but given that Blackbrook have the largest collections of Cranes in the UK including 2 sub-species of Sandhill Cranes,and both types of Crowned Crane it is very easy to suffer Crane overload and get species mixed up after a visit to Blackbrook!!!
