With a mix of species including Tule White-fronted Goose, Canvasback, Gadwall, Pacific Common Eider, Red-crested Pochard, Hooded Merganser, Goosander, American Black Duck, Bufflehead, Lesser (?) Scaup, American Wigeon and probably a couple of others in there too!

A snowy Blackbrook ended up being my first zoo visit of 2010 back in January and my final visit of 2010 as well.

Being up on the moors it's often quite exciting, weather-wise, but the snow does bring out a rather different side to the animals.
